It might work if instead of just boycotting, you take public transit for the one day. Else, you're just postponing your gas refill by one day...that's not really a boycott...that's just being your normal old lazy self.

I wonder why people always complain about gas an not about bottled water. Have you ever noticed that bottled water costs more than gasoline? Even with these prices?

in fact, i think it would make MORE sense to fill up on gas today. tomorrow, all the naive people will be lining up at their local gas stations filling up their tanks...why should we wait in line with them?

Well, I've been boycotting gas for almost a month now.

Yea, I think it has somethin to do with not having a car anymore, rather then any kind of political statement though.

I filled up 2 cars and my lawnmower this morning. I plan to fill up a third car later on today even though not all of them had empty tanks. I even looked for a station that had protestors but could not find one...

The only down side to all this is that now that the mower has gas SWMBO is going to expect me to mow the lawns.

I think a better idea would be to boycott a certain oil company for say 1-2 months, would cause them to lower prices to keep customers and other companies would need to compete... but that would be nearly impossible...

I will try anything... don't fill up for a day... that's ok, I only fill up very 4 days anyway...
