anyone from cupertino?
my friend is moving to cupertino and she wanted to know what the best highschool would be to transfer her son to. she preferred a rich, classy highschool with the best reputation. can you recommend a school?
Yeah...every HS in cuptertino is rated a 10. You want them to rank them in 10.1, 10.23?
Cupertino is one of the nicest and most affluent towns in the south bay, she really cant go wrong with any of their HSs

note the social life section.

but i don't think they're open enrollment so unless you live in the specified area, you can't attend mv. (you need to prove residency w/ a pge bill) not saying they're the best hs, but they're super academic if that's what she's looking for.

Lynbrook is also good, but knowing lynbrook kids, they generally seem to be 100% focused on academics, while MV is highly academic focused but still manage to retain a very healthy social life. Maybe I'm just biased, I went to Monta Vista.
However, MV is considered to be the top rated high school in the region, more so than lynbrook, and even the name of the high school helps in college applications, etc. The area is nice, rich, and nestled right by the foothills. They just finished up a new library and i'm pretty sure the auditorium. The MV campus is definitely nicer than the Lynbrook campus. I used to go driving in the mountains during my lunch break.

Anyway, that's just me. I had a fantastic time at MV, and even after 2 years of college, my best friends are still the ones from high school.

There's definitely a social life present, you just have to hang out with the people who do those things.
