I paid $900 for the highest warranty cuz the guy screwed up at the dealer.
It was at Rancho Grande Motors in San Luis Obispo.
I think the standard 5 year "gold" coverage for a turbo car was like $~1500

cool thanks!, i have a much greater idea now, was the plan you bought like 7 years/100k? or do they just extend it from the time you purchase it? (hence you said 5 year plan), thanks again!

HEY, thanks!, hmmmm- looks like the 7year/70k is what i want, as far as mods go:
-lowered on "s-w-i-f-t made sport springs" (iono if anyone ever heard of these)
-HKS bov
-cusco strut bar
-alarm, audio....
so i think the warranty plan should cover me for most things. when i get to save 2k i guess it will all go here =(, thanks for the info guys.

^^ This is why ^^
Your car has a device that measures how much air is comming into the engine. With your factory recirc valve, the released air is rerouted back into the engine.
With an atmospheric BOV, the air that the cars computer thought was going to be comming into the engine, is now released into the engine compartment.
Therefore you run super rich between shifts, causing backfires, possible cat & spark plug fouling, and general running like crap. (unless you are tuned).
But if you are paing $300 for a tune, you better have more than a BOV!

the only reason why people get a bov is just for the sound. it gets no gain at all. just to hear the vrooompshhh. is fun after awhile then you will get tired of it. took my on and off just for the fun of it.
