I still have this strange urge to get a set of Skyway Mags (yes, they're still around) for my cruiser.

Do people not believe in helmets for some reason that I wasnt told?
The human body was made to take damage from 0 to about full running speed onto dirt... not 25mph into concrete.

I wear a helmet, my kids wear helmets. My son is on his 3rd one. He's smashed two so far. Better a helmet than his head, and in one case would have been a brutal faceplant.

I had the issue of BMX Plus! where Mat Hoffman was an unknown in the 16+ expert ramp competition.
Anyone remember General? Woody Itson? Eddie Fiola?

But you are really dang lucky to have your Haro still. I wanted one of those, but I just had to get the Trickstar cuz of the baby blue paint (was/is my favorite color). Haros were sick though. So were Redline RL-20's. My friend's Mom chucked his RL too, so actually, I don't feel that bad.
Btw, I totally remember Itson, Fiola, and The General, and all the other OG freestlyers. I got Fiola's autograph at Knott's Berry Farm after seeing him, Scotty Freeman--Skyway, and some others in a show. Fiola had just unleashed his 540's, and I was like :eek
Man, good times back then....running home everday after school to ride and rolling to the Center in GG Park on Sundays to learn new tricks from the Curb Dogs and other local guys.....time really flies!
