The foam pads on the handlebars and the frame where it "meets your nads" is a nice touch.
Did you have the donuts on the handles that kept your thumb knuckles from being worn away?

Dude, that's my show bike I'm riding! It's a staged photo shoot for a special edition(circa 1984) of the paper that I delivered...The Santa Rosa Press Democrat.

My race hack was even sweeter than this one; A Team DG frame with Dia Compe brakes, race alloy rims, etc. I was hell at the track.
It was shortly after this picture that I "discovered" punk rock, skateboards, and malt liquor & divested myself of the BMX culture.

And girls dude. Don't forget the girls. If there is one thing that made me give up my BMX it was girls.

Nothing drove home more to me that girls don't dig guys that ride BMX's than that scene in the Karate Kid where Daniel san got punked by the Cobra Kan on their enduro's and later beat up at that the beach.

What's missing is the stem pad where the stem clamps the handlebars. The REAL place your ***** met the bike.
