Anyone Been to the Oaktown Roscoe's Chix & Waffle Joint??
Once again, I was nosing around the OTHER place and found a thread on the Roscoe's chicken & waffle joints in LA. The last time I went to Roscoe's (LA location), I was told that there's one in Oaktown. However, apparently, it's only a ROTA version. 
According to one of the OG Roscoe's waitresses, the Oaktown one is not part of the SoCal clique and only shares the same name & very similar menu.
Just wondering if any of you BAIC'ers has been to the Oaktown Roscoe's. The OG joints are hella good, but no way am I driving 500 miles just for chix & waffles!

what's the address for the Roscoes in Oak?
when I lived in LA, we'd go to Roscoes at least once a month
omg the grub is SO good there
I had heard that there USED to be one in Oakland but that it was closed

Did a little sleuthing and found that Lois the Pie Queen serves good chicken and waffles. Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles (Oakland) closed down a while ago and it seems like their waffles were not up to snuff anyways (as compared to the LA branches).
