I'm gonna make an official prediction.

At the end of part II, it's gonna be a dream for Uma Thurman. She will wake up either in the P****y Wagon or somewhere thereabouts. Did anyone else notice the really abrupt cut from that sequence???

The scenes in Japan were INTENSELY and blatantly surreal. The flight looked completely surreal and with no real attempt to make it look real at all.... hmmm.... why are there katana holders on a plane? Not just Uma's either. Never knowing her first name and it being BLATANTLY covered up with sound effects. Oh and during the Sonny Chiba scene when she asked to pick up the 1st katana, he replies with "You may." but in Japanese "yu mei" means dream... not likely on accident

Whenever, you're talking about a Tarrintino movie, hot chicks, swords, a woman with a patch over her eye, cool bikes, Asian assasins dressed up in school girl clothing....

can there be TOO much blood? I think not.

If you do not like this movie, it means you just don't get Tarantino.

Lucy Liu get 19 out of 10 for me. Not specifically in this movie, but for her overall hotness.

That's the point of the movie though. Quentin wanted to make the movie surreal. It was made as a tribute to all kung fu movies which explains a lot of the movie. It's just all part of the world that the charcters live in. I didn't get that "Yu Mei" part though. Elaborate please?!?

Chiaki Kurayama (Go Go)...oh man. I thought that girl was hot in Battle Royal, despite the fact that she stabbed some dude in the nuts to death. That sweet, "hiiiii!" part was pretty cute. Hehe. She's still pretty hot even though in this movie, she's swinging around a steel ball with blades on it.
