Ah ok. I don't have much to offer you. Most of the latin based languages are pretty easy (french, english, spanish, italian). I think that something that helped me was watching spanish TV when i was in HS. It took a while but hearing it helped me learn it later, and pronounce it better. there are some italian channels out there, and shows, just don't know if you will have access to them.

Yeah, it helps that the Romance family of languages is comprised of so many that are spoken here in the U.S. I took Spanish in high school on a whim, and it helped later when I decided to take French a year ago(ironically, I chose French over Italian, but mostly just so I could learn and understand more French jokes
). The two are very similar, and knowing one makes learning the other easier. The same is true for English and German, at least in my case.

Grow a moustache and boopida bopida your way through it. Seems to work for Peter Griffin.
The only things I know in Italian wouldn't be of much use to you in a 'real world' setting. Unless you plan on hanging out in a brothel quite often.

Along with Spanish, Italian has got to be one of the easiest languages out there. Pronunciation and grammar is pretty strait forward. Once you learn your regular and irregular verbs you're on easy street.
Mi scusi!
