Hardly, they had something where you could do two years of a "fine art" instead of a language. I tried to take spanish freshman year but failed miserably. Now I need a language so I am taking something that I actually have an interest in.

Ah ok. I don't have much to offer you. Most of the latin based languages are pretty easy (french, english, spanish, italian). I think that something that helped me was watching spanish TV when i was in HS. It took a while but hearing it helped me learn it later, and pronounce it better. there are some italian channels out there, and shows, just don't know if you will have access to them.

The only time i've found spanish useful is when i have a bunch of helium balloons that need inhaling, i do the corny high pitch voices that they play on telemundo and la radio (previously known as "The Radio")
I also use spanish skills when "they" talk **** about me when i do random laborous jobs.
I've always wanted to know Korean or Chinese to see what the haircut ladies were saying about me. You know they talk S
Speaking a different language in front of someone is one of the rudest things i can think of.

I don't know if I really need a tutor from craigslist, I can do that at school. I was just curious if anyone on here knew the language. Possibly send them a PM or something if I had a question. How long did it take you to learn?
