curiousity --what happened and how/why?
empathy --is he okay? Could've been me!
good samaritanism --how can I help?!
If you can't admit that you have at least a little bit of each, then maybe you don't know yourself.
It sounds like one guy made a mistake about backing up. My point is, big deal. Others probably shouldn't have been there in the first place because face it, only the 1st people there (call for help) and EMTs are being useful...the rest of you are curious and empathetic, but aren't helping at all (though you want to).
