Any suggestion???
i got a speeding ticket on October 8th. but i dont receive any letter from the court so i called them in last week to make sure when is my court day. and they said they dont have any record for my ticket on the computer. they asked me when is my court day for the ticket. i said is November 5th(this Wednesday). and they told me just come to the court and show them the ticket, and they will re-schedule the court day for me.
my question is: should i go there on Nov 5th?
if i dont go, what are they going to do?

oh... one more thing... i called today and told them i lost the ticket. and they said just go there and tell them where i got the ticket, what time and what is the ticket for...

thats kinda wierd.. I would show up without the ticket ( or not show it to them ) and see if they have any record of it
if you show them the ticket, they might re-file the ticket cause it was lost on their end. If they dont have it, then you should get off

well if you have a court day on the ticket that you signed for you had better show up. That letter they sometimes send you in the mail is called a "courtesy notice" and not getting one is not a valid excuse for not showing up to your court date(ask me how I know!

good luck with that. be glad this isnt in fremont, they would probably give you another ticket on top of the one, just cause they lost it.
