Any STi owners with coilovers that can take me for a spin? I'm researching coilovers but some say brand x is too rough while some others say its better than stock I need to decide for myself.

I'm waiting for a set of Bilstein PSS9's. I'll be happy to give you a ride once they're in.

found them for $1700 shipped. Considering the ohline fixed perch struts are approaching $2k, I consider it to be a good deal .

The stock struts are very bouncy and I've been in coilover cars that rode much smoother and more comfortably than the factory suspension. Its all in the dampers.

Yeah, ohlin struts with stock springs would be my ideal setup but $2K is much more than I want to spend. I started another thread about my goals but it got moved to the suspension forum...

I had a set of Tein Flex's on my old wagon. They were pretty nice on the track and actually rode fairly well but they were a nightmare on bumpy back roads. Not enough travel and any decent bumps would just toss the car right off line.
