Ok I had my fenders rolled today at extreme performance Navid did a great job on them i would recommend him but even with a heatgun some paint chipped on the edge. its just crappy subaru paint only 2 small spots so it was easy to touch up.

i was quoted $60 a fender i cant tell you how much i paid come to findout hes knows a buddy of mine from work and he chipped my paint too so lets just say i got a little discount but he did a good job i dont really blame him for the paint cus subaru paint kinda sucks.
$60 a fender?! i'd do it for $60 total... there's really no need to pay that much. i sugggest that you guys give it a try:
heat up the fender (this step isn't really needed at all)
start with a light tap with a sizeable hammer till you get comfortable with it
then bang away till the inner lip is flush with the fender
easy.

The paint will crack, but it can be touched up. I watched my friend roll his fenders on his FD RX-7 with a baseball bat, and it looks perfect. Just be sure to take your time and don't rush. Leave the car in the sun for a couple hours first to help soften the paint. You can score it with a razor just inside the lip to keep it from cracking up the side of the fender or quarter panel. Good luck with it!

FYI : use that specialty tool, enough heat, and patience (which may not be as realistic if you are paying to have it done....time costs money, and for $60 total you are NOT gonna get patience here
), and the paint won't crack.
Did my WRX rear fenders with the help of some friends using that Eastwood tool (which I am pretty sure Navid uses at Extreme). The paint did not crack....at all!
That said, it did take about an hour per fender. You have to put heat into it a LONG time before you even start with the rolling tool. If I had been paying, it would have been close to $200 for the pair of fenders.
Net result : 235s fit....with lotsa room to spare....on the back of my 02 wagon. Might just have to try 245s on the next set of tires

rolling fenders is nothing new. the 240 people have been fitting wide wheels with low offsets by rolling, pulling, and notching fenders for a while now and most, if not all, would attest to the hammer method. But if you guys want to pay a lot of money... go for it.
the hammer in the picture wasn't used to roll the fenders... it was used for the wheels wells
