No!!!!!!!!!! Do not do it yourself that way!!! I tried this before, and if you do not take a lot of caution while doing this, you could end up paying a crap load of cash to fix it. Here is a link to purchase your own fender roller: http://www.eastwoodco.com/shopping/p...&keyword=31158

If you think that is steep, I just talked to someone at Daland Auto Body in So. SF and he quoted $1200 - 2000!! He said, and I quote, "most of the time, when we do it, the paint gets cracked". The $1200-2000 cost includes repainting the arches. I didn't ask if I could keep the wooden spoon that he'd use to **** me in the *** with.

Spoon? That sounds more like a pool cue to me....

fender rollers are only needed for a clean pull. if you just want a roll, a hammer and a torch will do wonders.
I have been rolling fenders with a hammer and i have never had a problem with the paint cracking. not to mention... it's free.

Yeah, but some people just aren't skilled enough to use a torch......They might bubble the paint, and then they are skrewered

We no longer offer fender rolling anymore due to several reasons but none of which are because of anyone screwing us over.

Mostly because we have not got the time to do the job as well as it needs to be for offering it as a service.

you could also use a heat gun or just leave it out in the sun for awhile if you're worried about paint.

that is kingsol's fenders that i'm rolling with the huge hammer in the picture. well...actually he did most of it.

i guess practice makes perfect...if any of you guys want to do it yourself, just like how kingsol does it, you might want to first practice on your family's old camry or something.

I tried it on my old mazda........Damage resulted! But, a little bondo, some sanding, and a week later, the body was finally somewhat-straight again.
