NICE! i had a Team Associated RC18R before it got stolen...i rocked the electrical tape on the tires 90% of the time. I dont see the fun of driving an RC gripped...
only sideways or in the dirt jumping.

i might get another, its a $175+$75 for batteries setup worth spending, also only 1/18 scale so you can take it wherever.

i have some drift videos if i can find them. I made a dirt rallyX course for it too, it really transfers over to AWD skill in real life, the physics are pretty much identical (besides accel/braking speeds) and i found myself "drifting" my RS in wet parking lots clipping curbs at 1 foot mid drifts, knowing when and where to gas it as well as steering with much thanks to driving my RC.

But yeah i still hate most drift0rs in real life

i have a tspec car setup with pvc pipe tires. imo its the best for low speed drifting. controller, motor, servos everything included with extra parts, an extra battery and a pristine is300 body and gt wing. i dont get to use it anymore. if any of you are interested in it, id really like to sell it. it cost me over 350 new and id blow it out. let me know if any one of you are interested.

I made a bunch of sets of PVC "tires" for my old HPI Nitro RS4. Almost undriveable with nitro power

Then I bought some Tamiya Drift tires. They have a bit more traction and easier to hold a clean line, but I have a feeling they will wear out fast.

And we're not going to talk about the time my 11 year old son put cooking oil on the wheels of his HPI Micro so he could drift it on the living room floor. That was messy.

I used to have an RC10GT when I was about 12.
I loved that thing until I finally destroyed it on a huge jump.
