any one owns a honda fit?
I know of someone who owns a Fit and is loving it. Like they said, Honda is releasing them slowly so demand is high.
Mazda3-good car too. We just got a Mazda5 (based on the 3's underpinnings) for 17k so if they need utility they might want to look into that too.

Motor Trend(.com) did a comparison of the Fit sport, yaris, and versa in their August issue.
The Fit Sport came in 1st, Versa 2nd, yaris 3rd.

Yup, gonna go ahead and get out of the go fast seen, and join the Family Car seen. Already got a ton of parts for it mapped out, and some I already have from my EP3 "Si"
I know Honda is screwing around with us, just like with the new "FG Si" saying "These are a hot ticket item" only to find out that only 3K have been sold out of the 15K that were supposed to be released here in the U.S. alone. A buddy of mine got his for $100 under msrp, so does that sound like a hot ticket item??

I would really wait to buy a fit. The Ricer demand for them is high, so expect to pay MSRP or higher
Wait until they roll out a ton, demand goes down, and get it for a few hundred over invoice. This happens with pretty much EVERY honda sporty car release
The rsx-s, the s2000, the civic Si, etc
Just wait

There is very little "ricer" demand for the car, the youngest person I've seen driving one (besides myself) was a 19 year old or so girl. Most are being bought by older people.

I already have wheels for mine. J's Racing CBE, Tananbe DF210's, Mugen Door Sill Covers, and Mugen Window visors, JDM Center Console, Spoon 4 Piston Calipers, Spoon Rear Spoiler, SPoon Short Antenna and JDM Tailights on order. For a total of 4K n parts alone, of course everything will be installed by me, once I get my Fit.
Jk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! there are like 6 different sites devoted to the Fit/Jazz.

I do want one of those so bad, just not wanting to pay the over inflated price of the artificial demand on that car.

I just bought a versa this afternoon. After looking at the fit, rabbit and versa i came to decide on the versa for a few reasons. The rabbit got eliminated because the dealership in my town tried to say the best deal they could get for me was 72 months at 16%. Liars, so that eliminated them.
That left the fit and versa. The fit is definetly more sporty, but it isn't truly sporty. Neither car is going to blow you away, the fit just handles a little better. I ended up choosing the versa because it had more functional space, was more comfortable, got better mpg and was cheaper.

I test drove the Mazda3 last weekend and it was spooky how much it reminded me of my modified Honda Civic wagon. The Fit has a ton of cargo space for such a small car, while the Nissan Versa is more the size of the VW Golf / Rabbit.
