Any Nitto NT05 users here?

I just picked up a set of 245/40/18's, and will be using it at Laguna & Infineon on the 20th and 28th.
My friend has gone through 2 sets of NT05's for his g37s, and loves them. Earlier this year I was using Neova AD07's, and I've heard these are better for dry track days, but Neova's are better for wet track days.

LGT Mark, thank you!
My Star Specs are almost done. Initially I wanted to get Yoko AD08 in 245/40-18 size but it's deeply backordered (maybe for a few month, everywhere). And just wanted to try something different from Star Specs. They are great tires, especially for the wet conditions. I've heard/read that NT05 is great on dry but average in wet (still better than Falken RT-615). And pricing is great on NT05. And tirerack just increased prices on Star Specs a few month ago.
BTW, did you pick up your NT05 from somebody in Danville?

Haha, no got them locally used here in southbay ; )
I've heard great thing about the AD08's. I liked my AD07's, but the ones I got were a bit skinny (225/45/18), so I wanted something wider and came across these NT05's. If you want to come to Infineon on the 20th, I can give you a ride so you can get a feel for them. I may even put my AD07's on to compare between the 2, or if you bring your star specs, we could compare the 3? =p

I see... There was a guy who was selling his set of NT05 in Danville for $400 (through iwsti.com). I contacted him yesterday and the tires were gone. So I though that was you
.
Thank you! Not sure about Infineon on Nov 20 (what club is that?). I just been there 2 weeks ago. I was thinking about going to Thunderhill in Nov or Dec.
My Star Specs are almost at their wear marks (esspecially on the outside due to the camber setting I guess) - 3 track events and a few autocrosses + DD - 7000 miles total. Not sure if I want to continue using them on track. Unless I remount them so that the outside will go inside. But still it's the money spend (installation, balancing) on tires that are almost done.
