Any iPhone experts out there?

Guys,

Got a new 4s, and was really hoping that I could get this thing unlocked so I can use an international micro sim in it when I go overseas this week. From searching around though, it seems there is no unlock available for this phone yet (or never). With your knowledge being a lot greater then mine when it comes to this phone, am I basically **** out of luck? I don't suppose there is a way to convince someone at Verizon to do it (Is that even possible?)?

Any help would be appreciated!

Yes you can ask Verizon to do it, my friend did just that.

Excellent. I guess the next question now is does anyone on here work at Verizon who is willing to do it to a non 60 day phone? Leave on Wednesday!

If I had the ability to do it, I'd hook it up. We don't have that much power. That's strictly corporate. I'll ask a buddy who works there though.

Quick update for those that may pull this up in a search. Verizon DID unlock my iphone, all I had to do was call customer service and get in contact with their "global" department. I'm now running an IWIND sim card here in Italy in my phone.
