Alright.
Everyone has a different idea of what we should do and I had a really hard time getting many people to comment on whether or not they'd like to do this - a lot of people decided instead to offer alternative locations, which I appreciate, but none will really work with what I had/have in mind.
Here's what I'm a gonna do..
I'm going to call some hotels in Vegas:
Bellagio
NYNY
MGM Grand
Mirage
Palms
I'm going to see if they offer group rates, and if so, how many people are required to secure these group rates. I'm also going to contact the racetrack in Vegas and ask about the costs for one day of track time. I will then offer up my findings to the boards (iclub and NASIOC) with the intent of getting some people interested. The findings should include a cost break down for the track and hotel - I'll need money up front from anyone interested in order to secure deposits, as I do not have very much money just laying around.
Look for that thread in the future - hopefully within a week. If this is going to happen we need to jump on it so that if people are interested they can get the money together and plan for it in time with work and the like. I'll probably plan the trip for an arrival in Vegas on a Friday, and departure on Monday although everyone is entitled to do as they wish.

It's not as much fun, generally, but the cheapest rooms are in Circus Circus. As little as $30/night.

If we do it, we'll do it right. Honestly it probably won't be that much..maybe $80 to $140/night. If it really is too much money we'll stay somewhere way cheaper..gotta do what ya gotta do.
I just wanted to stay on the strip so we could easily hit all of the cool clubs and night time party spots
