Did anyone else have to fill out a provisional ballot? I heard more than a handful of people including my wife that were told their ballots were provisional.

Wiki says a provisional ballot is used when:
The voter refuses to show a photo ID (in regions that require one),
The voter's name does not appear on the electoral roll for the given precinct
The voter's registration contains inaccurate or out-dated information such as the wrong address or a misspelled name.
The voter's ballot has already been recorded

I think they also do it when you are registered to vote by mail and you go into a polling place instead. My wife is not registered to mail in.

 

no but a lady with her fatty pug dog in a baby stroller came motoring in, and upon entering the doorway the jam caused her stroller to come to a quick halt and fatty dog flew onto the floor, awesome.
