Ya Im going on friday. Its my first time and I assumed they were going to race all three days. Then I find out that the actual Grand Prix is on sunday. The website didn't say that unless you click event information, then click track schedule. I wish they would but that the actual race is on Sunday on the main page. But oh well, I go anyways and hopefully it will be cool. I can't go sunday because I have other plans.

Looking forward to laughing at that abomination of a track....with stiff champ cars literally leaving the road with all 4 wheels as they jump over the railtracks and half the field having to retire with suspension failures....should be funny.

The track was pretty much entirely re-done to try and be gentler on the cars as well as providing more passing oportunities, so it should be different from last year anyway.

The practise and qualifying sessions are still very good to watch. You will also get a better view on Friday because there will be less people around the track.

I went last year, but not this year. The track was so flat, and the walls so high, that there wasn't enough for me to see to justify the price of admission. I much prefer going to Laguna Seca or Sears Point.

Not working there this year. They wanted a 3-day commitment. Heck no ! I'd like to watch it one day too ! Better when SCCA had more control over the volunteers last year.
It's all good. Have fun G. and everyone else.
