Any Crosstrek XV-ers on here?
When I joined up in 2001 it was all about the WRX, then the STi, I met a lot of fun people many of whom are still close friends, but only a handful shared my passion for back road exploration, rally, and adventure.
I recently added a 2014 crosstrek XV to my stable which seems like a better fit for many aspects of my lifestyle and interests these days.
I still have my WRX, but thought I might reach out and see if this forum has any XV-ers who might want to come along on occasion when I explore mountain, forest and desert "roads less traveled" for camping and various other adventurous activities?

Yeah I still have the WRX, and the Ranger, I'd sell the WRX but it is still worth more to me than it would be to anybody else, which is not a very good business case I know but...

I haven't actually seen the Khaki in person.
We wanted the orange...until we actually saw it in person. It was not nearly as vivid as the SOA promo pictures made it appear. It was much creamier IRL, I wanted something with a bit more pop.

off topic post stealing.
My wife wanted me to get an XV to replace my 2004 WRX w/198k miles.
I am boring...

I got the premium CVT. The paddle shifters rock so hard. I do not miss the manual at all.
Pete - I wish to hell I had the time to follow you on more dirt roads. I had so much fun scoping out roads up north and working the Reno rally that went south.
