Question Any Bay Area shops with quick turnaround time (for surging/boost problem)?

Hey everyone,

so my car's driving me FRIKKIN nuts, i had done a tune a few weeks back and was unable to get a full tune because there was a problem up top ( surging/not holding/not getting full boost), the tuner told me it was probably my BOV but it's not.

Nonetheless i've taken it to 2 local shops and they couldn't find what the problem is. i want to go to LIC but i'm afraid the turnaround time may be too long and its too far. i'm extremely busy and only get one day off a week, being a full time student and full time worker sucks ***, but i'm out of ideas and out of time, i need to get the car FIXED! i understand that shops are very busy and most likely won't be able to get the car done in one day, but anyone know of any good shops that are close to or not too far from San Jose ? i've tried to 2 closest to San Jose already and they haven't been too helpful to me, please post your opinions!! Thanks everyone!

p.s.
i've tried EVERYTHING to troubleshoot the problem so please no "have you tried searching" and yadda yadda yadda replies

If u schedule an appointment with Kevin at AutoHQ in Redwood City, he'll keep his time open the whole day if needed to work on just your car. He can usually find what the problem is. The only thing that may impede the one day thing is if he needs to order parts for your car.

Kevin used to be a tech for Subaru. I haven't heard anything negative.

Kevin used to be a master tech for Carlsen Subaru. He's your best bet if you're out in the peninsula.

Is $85/hr for good, reliable service too high?

at this point price isn't the issue . i've bled my knuckles dry and have used up my vast vocabulary of profanities, hahah. i've done all i can to find the problem and still no results, i've pretty much removed my whole setup and reinstalled with the same outcome. i will be giving Kevin a call, thanks everyone!
