Man, I wonder what would have transpired if he hadnt of been pulled over... What would of happened? Would he have gone on a shooting spree?
Regardless of what, he's screwed BIG TIME. People were saying that he was on a suicide mission, but why was he wearing body armor if he was trying to kill himself? Makes no sense unless he wanted to take his life after doing as much damage as possible (not being killed and being able to kill cops/whomever)... Sort of like the Hollywood bank shootout in the 90's.
I go to groveland to camp... My friend has a cabin there and we go during the winter and sometimes in the summer. It's a quaint little town in the mountains and I'm sure that the entire town is shocked that this happened.

We're seeing this more and more these days. Like it or not people are cracking. After the last couple of vids that have come out of Oakland it seems as though he chose a good place to start.

It would make sense to start in Oakland since they took 80 officers off the street! That's the last thing Oakland needs right now. Anyone looking to start anykind of mayhem like this would go to Oakland to "set it off"!

At least in Oakland, as the murder rate has been 3.5 X the national average for some time.
That section of 580 West was closed at least until yesterday afternoon, around 4PM (I was on my way to Dublin).
People were slowing down to a crawl on 580 East just to see the truck with lots and lots of bullets holes.

It was actually closed until almost 7 last night. They finally opened up 2 of the lanes by the time I was on my way home from work.
This had nothing to do with Oakland, this guy was just out to do bad things and is gonna pay.
