i sometimes get paranoid that i forgot to set the brake it and go out to my car to check, to avoid the above described situation and embarassment

You know, if you parked your car in gear you wouldn't have to worry about your e-brake as much.

Damn, that sucks, any damage? Maybe now they wont forget to set the E-brake and put it in gear ever again!

P.S. What does FML stand for?

sounds like the car was rolling down the st. hopefully it didnt cause an accident and no on else was harmed.... make sure your ebrakes are tight people!
