does anyone know how strict they are this year? i never had any problems getting tickets for SEMA before 2005, but i heard last year they really required you to show proof of your business.

 

ill be there.. dunno how strict... cant wait!

 

they aren't strict when you actually have proof of working for a company in the automotive industry

 

please define "proof".

 

i'm already in their system from previous years so I don't really need anything but proof would be a business card and pay stubs

yea, that's the problem. i don't work in the automotive industry. couple years ago they just give you the pass with just a regular photo ID. i heard last year they wanted to see business cards and another form of proof.

 

Yep, they're locked down because of abuse of the system.
