When I was shopping for an Odyssey in June, I sent an price quote request to them. Got a call the next morning for a price, very fast service but the price was way higher than what I expected. They always claim that they have the best price but the quote I got was almost 1K higher than what I eventually paid at Marin Honda. Maybe Anderson marked up the Odyssey because the model (Touring) I was looking for was in very high demand and most dealers have low or no inventory.

You might want to check out Marin Honda. It's not a big dealer so inventory might be limited compared to Anderson but they have great pricing. Contact the Internet Manager Brent directly. Good luck.

Thanks for the input. Actually, I meant to put this in the BayArea forum. Anyway you're right about anderson. I got an out the door qoute for 250less from Vacaville and DavisHonda. Less of drive for me and I'll save a few bucks too. We'll see how it goes.
I went through Carsdirect and Vehix and was amazed how quick dealers sent back quotes.

Got home with our new Hybrid Civic. Not bad a ride compared to the 80's. Ended up n Davis since Vacaville didn't want to budge on my trade it. New car smell is great!

Nice Bill! I wouldn't mind having one of those myself, except for wanting to have AWD up here in Reno.

IT would have been a proud moment for you. I traded in my 97 Suburban for the Hybrid. 90+ bucks a fill up finally got to me, but I do miss it a little.

Zoeb: I ended up getting the Magnesium silver. Wife's chioce over my pearl Blue.

THis is still true. I went to Vacaville Honda and it just wasn't happening with my trade in. Since DavisHonda offered the same out the door price on the Hybrid, I figured why not see if they would make a better offer on the tradeIn and they did by 500 bucks. No pressure and good group of folks from the fleet manager, saleman and financing. Equally best car buying experience since my last car purchase at Carlsen Subaru. Oh, +1 to carsdirect.com
