In 3 weeks there is a new Android Motorola DUAL core processor with tons of memory, yes I've seen it, friends wife is a development engineer for Motorola. It's by far the most spectacular phone I've seen.
I have a G1 still, original Android, I installed a full Linux Kernal on it, and had NO memory left for anything, took off the kernal and still didn't have enough memory, very frustrating phone...the new one has plenty of memory, it's a complete computer. Much better than any other Android I've seen.

In addition, the current Nexus S does NOT have the required 3G band for AT&T. This means if you put an AT&T sim in there, it'll only run on EDGE. However, there are plans to push a new version with an AT&T 3G band in Canada.
You will love the Atrix. Motorola phones are notorious for being "locked down" (i.e. not easy to root), but if you don't mod your phone, I wouldn't worry about that at all. Also, I'm not a big fan of Motorola's BLUR skin. Vanilla Android is where it's at
