Am I an F'n A'hole

Well I decided to open this thread because I find myself in constant turmoil about the way I conduct myself with others. I can be a bit blunt sometimes. I often say to much. I also have a tough time recognizing a situation that could pose a problem before it's too late.
This will be an ongoing diary of me (Jeff) and my struggles to deal with humanity as a whole. If you are my friend, thank you. Believe it or not I really need you guys/girls. Otherwise I will lose all hope.
Also for anyone else looking for some opinions please feel free to post. Let's just try to keep it on topic with good construtive critisism.

Here's the latest:

Well just after I post about not being a ***** it happened again... Last night at our usual Wed night meet, Jeremy brought his girl friend, Katie. We do our best to get along, but last was was not so good. She has a tendancy to try rubbing me the wrong way, to show you where I'm going with this; a couple of weeks ago she said " I like you because you are one of the only conservatives I know that will argue." Anyway, I really don't like arguing about politics, religion, ect. while drinking. It's a really bad mix. Our relationship has come to a point that no matter when she speaks it seems as though she is starting in on me. Hell, she treatened to throw a beer at me.
It went like this; We were discussing something, I believe she put words into my mouth, she said I had no point, I got pissed and made my point. I told her " I'm not going to beat around the bush, I DON'T LIKE YOU." and it went on and on. Well she started crying, I didn't care. I felt bad though because it is Jeremy's girl. It was the worst Wed. Night meet ever. You probably can't hold a lot of water with it because we were drinking. I will apoligize to her and chalk it up to booze. In order for this to work there has to be a no more confrontation clause or something.

It sounds like you are jealous of her. You should probably just get it over with and profess your love to Jeremy and try to get him to have angry, monkey sex with you. Hope that helps.

Well, I have professed my love to Jeremy. I'm not entirely sure this is the case.

i commend you for actually taking the effort to look into yourself instead of passing off poor behavior as simply "thats just how i am" and not doing anything about it, like 95% of all people. its a sign that you are maturing, because i know that we all go through a period of self reflection and growing up. it's difficult because you are who you are, and realizing something bad about yourself is a blow to the ego, which is just human nature. the important thing is to be able to stay humble in these situations. there are certain people that still push my buttons, so i guess you just have to learn how to be tasteful in your rebuttal.

LOL, yes, I was just referring to his "online journal" comment. Ha, I don't care what the hell he does, just throwing a good dose of pre-coffee srcasm into the mix.
