thats one of my to do lists is to flat black a car.
looks awesome, and yes the blotches only add to the flat black. thats the whole point of flat black!
looks awesome, just blackout headlight FMIC and windows and you've got yourself a beauty!

why is flat black so trendy all of a sudden.
I talked about doing my wagon like that 3 years ago and everyone thought it was rice and/or ugly. Now that its trendy everyone wants to do it.
Personally... Looks half assed to me.
Headlights would take couple hours of your time and make a HUGE difference.
I love the flat black look but I like when its done right. That orchard **** looks like crap. Faded out primer look. Use something durable and dark. A true dark flat black that isn't gonna fade and keep getting grayer.
sorry just my opinion.

yeah but they also blacked everything else out too. If you're gonna do it do it 100%. You know.
I mean hell this was trendy with hot rods years ago and now its nearly laughable thanks to discovery channel and the creation of the word rat rod.
look at a car like what GST is doing. Essentially a flat black but its dark and it set off with carbon fiber and a yellow roll cage. Personally I think they should paint that red stripe on their wheels yellow too or get some yellow wheels. Haaa. Set it off. Use the flat black as kind of a background for the other stuff to jump off of.
Use black decals with a few key yellow decals. etc. Be creative. Not just get some spray paint and go walla. grey primer.

haha i love the hatred.
i was actually wanting a mad max style. i dont WANT my car to look good.
Its not a showcar that happens to see track time when it gets a chance. Its purpose built. I dont want to pay money for a nice paintjob when its going to get destroyed anyways.
as for the headlights. They are getting painted flatblack also, BUT THE EXTERIOR!!! No use for headlights so im going to paint the lense black
and what cars do rob and big have that are black. ive never even seen their cars... FYI i painted my car flat like 3 years ago =)
