I went to an all you can eat place in Davis. It wasn't the best sushi I have ever had.. but for $16 (tip and drink included) I had about 10 plates of 4 rolls each... so 40 rolls for $16... it was worth it. Oh and, I didn't get food poisoning. ha

^ You're probably talking about Fuji's or Davis Sushi, which are awesome places. I really miss those two places since I left Davis.

As for all-you-can-eat sushi in San Jose....no idea.

sushi factory isn't too bad. it doesn't meet the quality of high class sushi for sure, but you get what you pay for. it's great if you want to get full and have a somewhat satisfying meal. eat at the bar and not a table. the bar is much faster.

Only place I've been to that is all-you-can-eat sushi is Sushi 85 in Mountain View. I don't know much about "good" sushi but its was okay, then after a few plates (like everything else) it doesn't taste super great. Not that it sucks or not freshly made because it is made to order. But you eat the same kinda stuff over and over it starts to suck.

http://www.sushi85.com/

You can always yelp it

I completely forgot about that place. Sushi Nobu isn't as good or have as big a menu as Davis Sushi or Fuji's.

I think all you can eat at Sushi Factory is like 22 or something..I forget.

I service is slow, so only eat at the sushi bar.

You can only order 3 rolls at a time, so often times you just break even, or just a little ahead of ordering separate before you get full.

Unless your an eating machine

Nobu has nothing on Fuji's! Fuji's used to be a bi-weekly tradition back when I was in Davis.

Is Davis Sushi new? Never heard of it.

Totally out of the way but if anyone ever makes it out to Davis for whatever reason and you're hungry go to G street in downtown right across the street from G street bar there's an all you can eat sushi place that stomps most "pay per plate" sushi spots.
