Pete, what you did for us crazed driver this weekend is unforgetable. It was well throught out and organized. The drive over that mountain (all 35 miles of it) on gravel blew my mind. Along with the other 9 mile gravel stage.
The tarmac was twisty and WAY out in the middle of nowhere. It was great bringing the car and myself to the edge as much as we did.

I'll go driving with you ANYTIME. unless of course it's my wife's birthday or aniversity. You are a great guy to have made friends with.

I have to give you all credit for motivating me with your guys collective enthusiasm while it was coming together. I'm really glad we made it without any worse damage than we did and that most everybody had a good time with it.

and yeah, we should do this sort of thing more often, Death Valley is awesome in March.......

the 4wheel drive club i belong to does a dEATH VALLEY trip every february.

it's a mild trip that stock vehicle can go on...

they do a 3-4 day trip out there...

And I might be going down to NV/AZ for the Ramada Express in December, the trips down and back for that can be quite an adventure too.
