Its not really a "new" path. It is one that hes been doing part time since working at ahq hes just going back to it full time as his parents are getting up there in age and need more help.
As for some of the other stuff said in this thread. There are lots of things that havent been said and for solid reasons. With that said w00t for making more money and having more time off lol.

Where does AutoHQ stand as a company now? What's going to happen? Is everything going to stay the same, or are things going to change?
First thing that came into my mind was the customer of yours (erm, ex-customer of yours) that got an AutoHQ tattoo put on his back... That's gotta suck! *ouch*
At least we have lasers that can almost completely remove tattoos nowadays.
One last question... How long have you been at AutoHQ now? What was your role while working there? Did you do customer service, or were you a partial owner?

Bryan was a manager there. Ahq is still open and no he wasnt a part owner of anything there. Kevin owns the shop and always did. The whole point of this thread was just to inform people that have his personal cell # to stop calling that number but to call the shop number instead or pm them.

The childhood adage of "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all" is taught to us as kids, because as kids we lacked the mental capability for constructive criticism (both giving and taking). As adults, we should be able to take constructive criticism properly and use it to our advantage. It is the continuing use of childhood adages beyond childhood that have created a population that cannot take constructive criticism (do you still use the buddy system when in a public place? do you still have the alphabet in print around the wall of your work place?). Constructive criticism is not a bad thing and is not meant to be hurtful.
Should I not offer beneficial advice because someone may refuse to take it for what it is? That does not sound helpful to any community.
Why post here instead of PM? Everyone gets to be involved in the conversation this way, bringing, in theory, more ideas to the table.
EDIT: I, like everyone else, wished him good luck in his new field. Should everyone else have PM'ed him that message too? Or where do you draw the line for public post vs. PM?

Furthermore, many things are better left unsaid. Sure, you can be bold and try to assert yourself, but sometimes even if you're right, you'll look like the bad guy and get the short end of the stick for your efforts. Of course, I'm not your mother so far be it from me to tell you how to live your life.
That's all.

I had a feeling you wouldn't take it as the constructive criticism it was. I'm not even going to respond to the actual context of your post, in hopes that it was written in anger without actual thought.
Dude, that comment I made was meant 100% as constructive criticism, don't take everything as a personal attack. I could have outlined everything I felt you handled horribly, but I didn't, because it wasn't that kind of post. My comment was 100% drama-free, it is responses like yours that instigate drama, the snide little comments. My comment had nothing to do with you as a person, only your skills in the customer service industry as the spokesperson for a shop. Your remark was towards me as a person. That is where the difference is and the problem lies.
I'm sorry I'm not going to sit there and pat your back saying "you were the best front deskman ever!" No one does anything perfectly, but its being able to accept where your shortcomings are that improve your skills or help you redirect your efforts into a better suited realm.

So if I were to adhere to your reasoning, I would have this to say: you stated in your original post that you wanted to avoid drama, yet by the very nature of your post you created drama. My constructive criticism towards you is that you should have sent a PM instead of mucking up an informative thread.
