Good luck with the family business Bryan. I know you have a lot of fans on here, but in all honesty, you did not seem like the best person for a customer service job, judging from your actions on i-Club and stories from other BAIC members.
I'm not trying to bash you or start drama, just honest construtive criticism incase you decide to get back into the retail business.

Dude, that comment I made was meant 100% as constructive criticism, don't take everything as a personal attack. I could have outlined everything I felt you handled horribly, but I didn't, because it wasn't that kind of post. My comment was 100% drama-free, it is responses like yours that instigate drama, the snide little comments. My comment had nothing to do with you as a person, only your skills in the customer service industry as the spokesperson for a shop. Your remark was towards me as a person. That is where the difference is and the problem lies.
I'm sorry I'm not going to sit there and pat your back saying "you were the best front deskman ever!" No one does anything perfectly, but its being able to accept where your shortcomings are that improve your skills or help you redirect your efforts into a better suited realm.

I had a feeling you wouldn't take it as the constructive criticism it was. I'm not even going to respond to the actual context of your post, in hopes that it was written in anger without actual thought.

In just posting something like this publicly, you're creating drama even if it's not your intent.
The old adage comes in handy here: if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all. And if you really care about a fellow BAIC'er's personal growth, why not address the matter in private instead? If you're Biblically inclined: "Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother." - Matthew 18:15
Just my 2 cents.

Should I not offer beneficial advice because someone may refuse to take it for what it is? That does not sound helpful to any community.
Why post here instead of PM? Everyone gets to be involved in the conversation this way, bringing, in theory, more ideas to the table.
EDIT: I, like everyone else, wished him good luck in his new field. Should everyone else have PM'ed him that message too? Or where do you draw the line for public post vs. PM?
