you should see a physician, like know. You need antibiotics and a culture done of that thing. If it turns bad being that its on your knee you could lose half your leg. but that would be pretty cool cause then you could get a peg and be a pirate.

Yeah, been to the ER twice in the past 3 days... Went yesterday morning cuz it got so painful... They cut it open and did bad things.
EWw...
That nipple looks like it gots a chunk of juice inside it waiting to ooze out.
Is that the effect of the spider poison, or did the spider bite create an infection?
I got a spider bite before, and it got infected like that.. basically make sure to leave it under running water as much as you can in order to wash out the bad bacteria. If you cover it up and stuff it makes the infection grow deeper and stuff...
I still got a scar from mines too, so most likely your gonna have a lil scar on your knee after.

Mythbusters "busted" that one. I too thought that was true for the longest time, btu they proved that a Daddy Longlegs can bite through human skin, but that its venom isn't strong enough to bother a human.
My buddy was bitten twice by a Recluse. The one on his thigh looked just like yours, Dan, and his doctor called it a "volcanic wound"... gross. The other one, on his *** I might add, became what the doctor called a "severe abscess." It was gross, he showed me pictures the doctor took and he had like a 1"x1" wound on his *** that was 1" deep. you could see down into the wound like an inch! I almost threw up.

Dude that is grose..
Anyway I just wanted to say that acording to the California Entemology department south western california is crawling with brown recluse spiders.
None the less it needs to be treated by a doctor. If they gave you anti biotics you should be fine. Most brown recluse spider bites are real ugly from the skin and muscle surounding the bite becoming necrotic or "dying". YUK!!
In your case just keep the wound clean, and draining of any fluid. It should heal in time.
Here is a bad recluse bite..
