If you go CHP, you'll get paramilitary training. If you go Walnut Creek, you'll be bored off your *** and be one of the cops nobody on i-club likes...the ones that just hand out b.s. tix for tint/exhaust. Concord you might see a little more "real" police action.
I'm in the same boat; considering going into law enforcement, looking @ SFPD (going to the graduation today), or CoCo county sheriff.

I believe that this particular officer, lost his job over this incident...he was reviewed by internal affairs and they determined that he had 'conduct un becoming of an officer" or something to that effect.
Situations like this are easy to control and dispell, just remember training, LOL...
Edit: Working for CHP is like being AAA with a Gun....

If I was a cop, I'd just write people tickets for not using their turn signals ALL DAY! No speeding tickets, just reckless driving tickets (for real reckless driving). People would be pissed, but maybe then they'd effing learn.

From what I heard this officer was under review for being a douche and in order to prove he wasn't he pulled over this known crazy guy to show how calm and controlled he could be heh
I don't get why they don't chill at places like Mathilda/237 - every day at all of the intersections near there (Ross/Mathilda, Moffet Park/Mathilda, etc) people block intersections trying to squeak through - nearly every day I see someone blow a red light to park in the intersection, people yelling and screaming etc but NO COPS EVER. Too busy with the tint tix and profiling the racerzzzz.
