Adobe Premiere Sound Problems

I just made a video for a friend that is a picture/slideshow accompanied by music. I exported it to a .avi file. Then I go to play it and it only plays the first 20 sec of the track. The video is fine, but I can't get the rest of the 2 songs to play. Any ideas? Thx

Sorry to clarify I only have 2 songs. The first one plays to about 1/4 of the song then stops. The video keeps running and the other song doesn't play.

Both songs are .mp3 files.

try converting the songs to something that is native to the host machine. ie, if this is a windows box, try WAV'ing it...

also, is your machine fast enough?

Convert it to .wav for safety purposes and make sure the timeline is correct on those two audio items. Sometimes things can be mistakenly dragged short in the timeline.

Also check the audio levels to make sure they're not all the way down. My suggestions are just based on Adobe After Effects, which is basically Premiere with a buncha bells and whistles for special effects.

Is it fully rendered? With Final Cut Pro, if audio isnt fully rendered, there will be a 'doplar beeping' noise.

Good point, I forgot about adding that's also important to render your movie before exporting. Haha.

Wow, I'm an idiot. I didn't render (hence the solid red line on the top of the timeline).

Thanks a ton for the suggestions, it's rendering now. I'll post an update in a bit.

Update:
IT WORKS!

Thanks again guys!
