Accident this moring... First time for everything, I guess.
I was on my way into work in San Jose and this DB kid decided he was going to turn left from the center lane ignoring the fact I was right along side of him. I tried turning with him to avoid it. I hit the front passenger fender, rear bumper corner and then the curb. The curb really did it in. RF suspension is hosed pushed the wheel all the way into the fender well. Not even drivable. His car took some scrapes. I got the ish end of the stick on this one. The worst party about it was the cop that responded to the scene. I was on the phone with insurance and he demanded I hang up the phone. He said he was doing me a favor by filling out the accident report. Copping an attitude as if I had inconvenienced him. SHUT UP AND DO YOUR JOB POPO!!! You're not doing anyone any favors, it's what we pay you to do... Now go suck your coffee and kick your feet up.

I'm waiting for a call from his Sgt. I will continue to file reports until I hear from his Sgt. Arghhh, no rental coverage. I guess I should see if his insurance will cover my rental. GL with that right...

Sorry to hear bout the bad luck, but that accident report really is pretty important, and shouldn't have been blown off. What will stick in court is what the police put on their report, not what you told your insurance company.
When I was cut off and my car was totalled, the other party tried to fight it saying speeding was involved. The police report worked in my favor that time.
Good luck with it all, hope the cop didn't write a biased report. Also good to hear everyone walked away from it.

Thats how it SHOULD be. Your insurance should have nothing to do with this beings that hes at fault and the report backs that up. His insurance should pay for all the work done to your car and rental comp
