Abercrombie class action suit

anyone fill out hte paperwork for this about 8 months ago? My friend just received a 1600 dollar check in the mail because of some random shirts Abercrombie made that were "discriminatory" to Asians. I'm asians, and I thought the shirts were hilarious, but by the time I found out about them, they were alreaedy selling on ebay for hundreds...and I don't have that kind of money to blow on clothes.

I wish i filled out the paperwork...maybe I could have picked up a 1600 dollar check on christmas eve too =P

Thumbs down

I hate Abercrombie because it appeals primarily to people who want to be like everybody else -- young, too-cool morons who think that they are somebody famous, and who think the world owes them something.

I'd wipe my a$s with their t-shirts and sell them on eBay for $100 each, and guess who would buy them? Young, too-cool morons who think that they are somebody famous.

well i never buy anything from there just because i can't afford to really...i shop at costco for my clothes hahaha.

i dont know who started the lawsuit, but they made shirts like "2 Wong's CAN make it White" where it had a dry cleaning store run by 2 asian guys...

I forget the other ones, but I thought they were pretty funny. Some people just have no sense of humor i guess.

as far as i know the class-action was on behalf of applicants and employees of african american, latino and asian decent who felt A&F promoted whites at the expense of minorities.
i wasn't aware that there was a law suite against A&F about thoes t-shirts back in 2002.

anyhow, A&F can DIAF for all i care.

What's DIAF? (Sounds pretty fitting for A&F.)
