For SCCA events all helmets must meet the latest or two immediately preceding Snell standards, so Snell 2005 helmets are good until the Snell 2020 standards are released. Most groups usually follow the same rules or are less strict.

Do you know what their policy is on double and triple drivers?
AAS... you have to hustle as a single driver. double driver leaves almost no time to do anything between runs...

triple driver would just **** people off.

That's true; AAS run groups are a lot smaller and go through the lines at a quicker pace. I'm sure Jourdan would be fine with hot lapping.

I see... Hmm, I usually like courses where I don't need to go into 3rd. Well, depends how long is the strait. The worst one for me is when you need to go into 3rd and then almost immediately shift back into the 2nd. GGLC have that sometimes. It's annoying even with my 7500 rpm rev limit. It's different I guess if you actually can shift into the 3rd and stay on it at least sometime.

There's more than enough cones to see where you're going, though, and pointer cones are yellow.
Well, GGLC courses are not too bad or I just got used to them Tight turns but track is not that narrow... Never been to AAS, so cannot really compare.

Some times it's quicker to stay in 2nd.

I would say sometimes the GGLC courses are a little too tight for anything bigger than a Lotus and hurts the course flow for bigger cars. I've talked to good autox drivers with Miatas say the courses are too narrow However, every GGLC autox event I've been to I've had fun.
