Wait, then whats the charge to get into the meet? Free right?

I told you no one else would be able to handle that meet... *tisk tisk*

Maybe next year I'll do it again just so it doesn't go to the sh**s.

$5 for entrance. No food. Before, it was more for entrance and catering, but now, it is just for entrance. Those who already paid for catering, is getting catering. Everyone else who wants to contribute to a potluck style, bring your own food deal, bring your own food.

He should be expecting in the ball park figure of 300 or so people if he did all his planning correctly,

People don't vote in polls, and people don't pre-pay, which is why I got screwed one year, but learned from it and made sure it didnt happen again. I gave Jordan my phone num, and told him to contact me for any questions...

The year before last we had 500 people, I thought only 400 were going to show, so I bought 400 people worth of food, + some extra stuff in case, and if we didn't need it, I could give it to folks like I do every year. PEOPLE WILL show, as long as you are on it, constantly hounding vendors, folks, etc... They will be there.

Thats why we've always charged $5 in advance, or $10 at the door, food for all, drinks, beer, music, etc... Yeah, sometimes there was money left over, but I'd use that to support the next years meet... But the money wasn't that much. You just have to shop smart and be confident and use a calculator for everything.

No one knows how much stress is going into this event but the people who have helped me plan it, and Jordon. Its a tuff task, but its fun in the end!!!

Don't look at me. I am not the one planning this. I am just making a suggestion for people to bring 1 food item each to share.

I am bringing 2 packages of water. I am going to leave a few bottles in my car and leave the rest near the bbq pits for whoever wants to take them. I hope that others will be spirited enough to do the same.

It's not about that.

Lets not judge a meet that hasn't happened.

If you paid, and most have NOT paid, then there will be sandwiches for you.

If you didn't pay, then you can bring your own food, we have pits there..

Now, the event was to cost $15, have awesome catered food... losers complained, so it got dropped to $12... more losers complained... Now it's $5 for sandwiches.

So if more people want to complain, then, **** it. It's rediculous the amount of ****ing complaints this year.

Next year, it will be whatever I plan it to be, and that's it. I already have things lined up for next year, to make it bigger and better than before.

Now it's a ****ing mission. mark my words.

We will be lucky to have over 200 people this year. The interest is not there.

So, no worries. It is what it is. If I have to lose my *** in this meet financially, well, it's ok. I know changing locations will have it's teething issues. Just a step back, before being able to take some more steps forward.

8th annual meet.

You can't call it the Mt Hamilton Meet... cause it's not at Mt Hamilton.

So it's just simply the 8th annual BAIC meet.

If you signed up, you'll get food.

Other wise, bring your own, and lets enjoy a sunday in the park.

Any other volunteers. It isn't really that much more. Bring a bucket of fried chicken, or container of potato salad, or 24 pack of soda, or beer, or paper plates, or utensils. To be honest... all these things don't cost that much. Most of these things are like $5.

So... can we get some more volunteers for food, utensils, plates?

Heck, get some people together and chip in for a keg. Everyone should contribute in one form or another.

People are cheap dude. So, trust me on this one, bring it for yourselves, and enjoy.

There will tons of people who will have brought nothing, paid nothing, and will try to eat everything.

So, bring your own... or pay for sandwiches.
