anyone who thinks it's the roids that he has never tested positive once for that made him get his record.... is one of the following options

A) ****ing retarded.....
B) Has never played baseball....
C) Don't know how roids work.....

but really the answer is

D) you all need to shut your mouth and stop hating on bonds....

I hate baseball it's gay as ****, but if you think roids made him hit 756 home runs in his career... then you all need a wake up call

I'm sure a lot of the pitchers bonds hit off of were juiced too. MLB didn't give a crap about steroids until Congress made a big deal out of it a few years ago. Even then, the first set of penalties they had were just a slap on the wrist.

ok here is a question for all Bonds haters.

What stopping you from taking steorids and then hitting 756 home runs on 95 miles per hr *****? If you all say that steorids helped him then do it and prove.

this is an achievement guys, appreciate it. from my personal experience muscle mass makes the body heavy which in turn slows the swing.

I know that steroids don't help with the hand eye coordination, but by using steroids it probably helped him hit some homers. With a faster bat speed it means he can probably catch up on a pitch that he has been fooled on, so instead of fouling it off or hitting a ball that just makes it to the warning track it can actually be a home run. Does using steroids account for all 756 homeruns? No. Do I want to applaud the guy? No, I think he's an *ss and hope he finally retires. Could I hit in the majors, hell no I still have problems with the wicked curve from a wiffle ball.

not if the mass you added makes you stronger, and your bat speed higher... intern making you hit the ball harder and further...

You do understand that in his leaked grand jury testimony he admits to doing steroids, but he says he thought they were something else.

756 Homeruns, 0 Rings. Homeruns are nice and all but his attitude has completely derailed that organization. The fans will realize just how bad this team is now that there is no homerun chase to watch. Bonds retires, and next year is rock bottom for this franchise. Get use to losing, because it is going to take 5 years for the Giants to get competitive again.

Seriously....

His attitude hasn't done **** to derail that organization. The organization did that. They have been sitting on their butts collecting money for banking on a new ballpark and bonds to sell it out.

Not true??? How much does attendance go down when they announce he's not playing.....ANYWHERE. How much does it go up when he visits other ball parks?

Everyone knew going into this season the team was going to suck. Shoot I know 4 people that bought season tickets for two reason only....watch bonds break the record...go to the allstar team. The ORGANIZATION knew they'd make plenty of money this year and winning wouldn't mean anything but a few ticket sales for the play offs. The organization has been overpaying for old players for a long time.

They don't care. They just wanted to ride bonds.

Soon as he's gone they'll get back on track and do fine because they'll have to make their money winning.

THE ORGANIZATION killed the team not bonds attitude.

Zito???WTF?????

As for 5 years.....I'd bet they'll make the playoffs next year...maybe 2. No longer.
Why? Because they are willing to spend the money. They have a good ball park. They have good fans. People like to play here. Bonds won't be taking up $14million or more a year. The old guys will get scratched off. They'll bring in some more tallent to add to their OVERPAID zito. And because the don't have **** this year and I bet they go on a winning streak to finish the season.

bat speed higher? Bonds has had the best hands in baseball for 20 years. LONG before the HUMAN GROWTH.

If anything all that mass would slow you down. There is a reason you don't see wrestlers making $20 million a year playing baseball.

Bonds won MVP's. Was the best in baseball....LONG before the help.

Without his talent. His longevity. His brain. He would be another giambi or matt stairs.

As for someone else breaking the record so soon....we'll see. Possible....yeah. But fact of the matter is that they'll have to PLAY to break it. Stay healthy. Shoot I though Jr. was gonna smoke it but look what happened to him. We'll see what happens with these other guys.

hank aaron played like 24 years. Bonds is hitting home runs in his 40's.

on top of that...more pitchers use roids than hitters. And since money was introduced to baseball and homeruns made you money people have been cheating. They've been juicing for 70 years man.

I like bonds. I have since Pitt. But that's besides the point. I played baseball. I know how hard it is to hit a ball like he does. I also know how hard it is to hit a baseball like he does when you go games without seeing a decent pitch. Walked 2-3 times a game. More if you didn't swing at stuff you knew was out. Find me anyone that has had to deal with that.

In aaron's day there was a pride in going man on man. You saw pitches. In ruth's day they'd give you pitches and his fat *** didn't even have to run bases. People forget that he CHANGED his body to hit homeruns. he used to be a pitcher...a GREAT one. Peoples body's change.

You telling me the guys your seeing hit ***** right now aren't benefiting from some sort of chemical that will probably be banned at some point. The average power hitter these days are HUGE in comparison to years passed. So are pitchers.

Hmmm... A Rod or Ozzie at short...hmmmm.

Lets not forget.....mcquire used before it was banned. Same with bonds. Same with a lot of guys. Pine tar...banned. Scuffing the baseball...banned. Vasoline on the hat brim. Spit on the ball. banned.
