steroids doesnt actually make you stronger, it only gives you water weight.
steroids wouldnt actually make him hit the ball any harder. it just gives muscle mass.
Correct me if im wrong, but that is my understanding of it.

This is only my opinion, so don't get your panties in a bunch.
756 home runs. Hell, even the first four hundred or so, is hard as hell to accomplish. Steroids doesn't help with the knowledge of the game, seeing pitches, and correctly swinging the bat to get good contact on a 95mph fastball. Performance enhancing drugs doesn't help with consistency and hell, I'm not even sure if it helps with staying healthy enough to be effective in the game for two decades. I'll give him his credit. Hey, two words, "Jeremy Giambi". LOL
Besides, A-Rod is going to crush that record in 6-7 years. If he doesn't, Ryan Howard or Albert Pujols has the potential to do so. Records are made to be broken anyway.

“I hope baseball can soon stop talking about steroids. What I do know is the ballparks (today) are smaller and the ball is harder. I know those are two reasons for more home runs. Maybe steroids were the third reason. I don't know.”
but i will agree with one thing.. you still have to be able to hit the ball steroids or not... but i do believe that.. and flatline.. you're totally wrong.. that steroids make you stronger.. so with a mix of barry's talent for making contact with the ball and strength from steroids, its a deadly combo for baseball records.
having the strength given to you by steroids is the equivalent of having a corked bat.. it helps build muscle mass.. which means what? more strength.. which means what? the ability to swing a bat MUCH easier.
but again i can't ignore the fact that steroids don't make you hit the ball. but with the combo.. he still cheated.
