ouch... i don't think anyone would live after that... the bumper didn't hit so airbags would not have deployed...thats my logic anyways

Newer GM product, might have a decelleration sensor that would blow the airbags. Not sure though.

I doubt the driver was fatally injured. I hit a guardrail at 80mph in a 300ZX. Car tried to drive under it till it reached the a-pillar and twisted the car around. Airbags didn't go off and I walked away with a few scratches from the t-top assploading over my head. That driver is OK. Just really pissed I'm sure.
