the 5th of may

Does Great Britain celebrate July 2nd?

I'm just curious? I don't understand why we celebrate a battle in which Mexico fought off France for trying to collect on a debt?

Would it be celebrated if I killed Sallie Mae for coming to collect on my school debt because I decided I didn't need to pay. Would it be better if I killed 2 bill collectors because they out numbered me two to one but where on my door step....

Sorry... I'm irritated.

Grito de Dolores. The 16th is when it started and the celebrated date in all of mexico. they don't give a crap about the 5th down there and I don't see why that would be something to be proud of if you know the history of it.

Much like we won ours on july 2nd but celebrate the 4th... mexico's independence wasn't recognized until the 27th.

But that's not my point. I don't see why that should be celebrated in the states and why kids should get in trouble for wearing american flag shirts to school and called disrespectful? I'm all for being proud of your heritage but think it's funny that it's o.k. for EVERYONE but white americans.

You see a brown pride tattoo... no big deal. Hell Cane has one and you see him on TV if you like the UFC. Black pride. Asian pride. etc. If I had a white pride tattoo I would be labeled a racist... even by white people. WTF. Am I not allowed to be proud of my heritage?

This is my point. Over tolerance.

Not to slap at your heritage bro. I'm all for it. Hell more than a few people think I'm mexican when they meet me. haaaa.

bah.. my point is stated.

Gots no issues. Hell Stirs you know me. Not issues at all.

ha... a corona would be appropriate. Thanks dude. And you're welcome to come by my place and have a coors lite. (and yes I know the history on why most mexicans drink bud)

I'm a history buff. haaaaaa.

Hey man... sorry I never made it over to you. I drove up there but couldn't find the place for the life of me. Went up there twice actually.

I'd still like to come hang out and maybe even get my hands dirty... even if I don't get the alt.

Wife's on my butt. Need to get home and take over baby daddy duty.
