you guys are so insanely wrongly biased about hondas I would beat you all with a stick if there was a button on my keyboard to do so

there's some vid running around with of a 2000 pound EG generation civic hatch w/ an integra engine + bolton turbo kit keeping up with a 500 hp BPU supra, I seriously doubt anyone on this board PERIOD can do that.

Here's what no one realizes when they throw around uninformed arguements about "Car A has more potential than Car B" and the like:

Equipment is quality because of the amount of R&D thrown into it, NOT because of its initial potential. Honda is pretty f'in good right now, even though it's a sh**ty platform to start with, b/c thousands of mechanical and electrical engineers, and auto mechanics have thrown countless hours into scientifically developing parts and the like for Honda.

That is why Honda is good, not b/c civics are good, but b/c a bunch of engineers turned everything from the d, h, b-series engines into 1000+ hp beasts.

YEAH.......Verc, you tell them

that 240Z/corvette motor is long gone, like heaven gone.....the car did low 12s motor only and high 11s-low 12s w/ a supercharger back then...i saw it ran at Sears Point awhile back when it was limited by traction (skinny street tires)
