what was the outcome of complaining? are they willing to send it back? if it happened to me, i would not accept anything short of having it sent back. i know it's just a license plate frame, but the license plate frame belongs to you. what if it was a special frame that you actually paid for?

As for livermore audi... I have to say I don't care for you guys much. O.P., you work there right?
Tell you a little story. I was in the market for a new car. I was thinking truck and nearly bought a full loaded Chevy Silverado 2500HD 4x4 with a full california customs work up. Then I decided on a car and was dead set on an audi a4. I stopped in to livermore audi to take a final once over and buy one.
I walked around the lot FOREVER. Then went inside and walked around. I tried to talk to a couple sales people. EVERY person in that dealership did the best they could to turn away from me and pretend they didn't see me and the only ones I actually got to speak to me were not helpful and rude. Mind you I was a sure thing customer.
I walked over to the subaru side and poked around. It was part of the beginning of my looking in to subaru's as an option. The rest is history.
So you can tell your sales staff thank you for keeping me from making a poor decision.
seriously... wtf. I've got some Santa Cruz ones or a crucial one around here if you want it.

Also at any luxury place Porsche, Audi, I've always been treated like ****, unless I was in 1)expensive car 2)got the point where they could see I wasn't financially bsing them. I just laugh at this because the idea of a car salesman trying to act like I'm uncouth just makes me laugh as we know what their jobs are really like.
I've never worked for any car dealership or automotive place, I'm a software tester.

ive worked at a few dealers, and the one im a now always ask the customer first i never under stood why some dealers just swapped them, just because its another dealer doesnt mean u can syeal it and swap it for your own. whats to stop them form swapping yor custom frame. you would think , especially at an audi dealer, that they would know how picky people were about there cars. we got people that come in here that are 4ft tall and are techs are 6ft and the ***** when they move the seat.
