Seriously the only thing that I look at is the first and 2nd strings, niners didn't look too hot. Coffee looked good, and so did the running game, I didn't like the pass protection.
Oh.. and Niners STILL have problems on pass coverage.

im sorry but i think the niners will continue to SUCK as long as alex smith is the QB
we NEED a mobile QB and besides the fact that he sucks! he is not mobile! and def. scared to run!
i really liked that rookie the raiders have Charlie Frye! he is def. a 49er style QB... he showed a lot of mobility and wasn't scared to make things happen.
i say we DUMP Alex start hill and pick up Charlie Frye!!! lets face it this year is going to suck weather Alex or Hill is there, might as well gear up for next year with a real prospect at QB like Charlie Frye

I like him too and hes a good 49er pick! so i would be happy to see Nate Davis start and pick up Charlie Frye as a backup
that would be awesome to hear/see!
the raiders are a stupid team and since they have Russel at QB the chances are Charlie Frye will be cut and could be picked up for penny's
yea its crazy to want 2 straight rookies at QB but at this point i just feel ANYTHING is better the Alex Smith, now and into the future!
Alex Smith is a good QB but he will never be a GREAT QB as long as hes with the 49ers, because hes a pocket style QB and the niners dont have the offense to accommodate a pocket style QB
