Yes. We plan on building a pretty large stadium by Great America. The city has already passed numerous votes but still has a long way to go. Its suppose to feature a luxury sky tower, a living green roof, all kinds of crazy technology stuff. Its suppose to be like notre dame meets technology. Theres a few articles out there buzzing around.

I can't wait for the new stadium - it's still the SF 49ers. That won't change - what WILL change is the fact that people will go to more games as the stadium will be closer to a majority of the fan base and easier to get into and out of.
