30,000 Mile Maintenance Checkup from Subaru?

Just wanted everyone's opinion on this...

Do you all think it's worth it to have Subaru do the 30,000 mile checkup on my WRX? They do a lot of things but the big thing that bothers me is the $600 price tag that comes with the checkup.

Has anyone here gotten it done on their car? And if so, did you think it was worth it?

someone who has the maintenace booklet or the servicing manual for Subaru should post up some pdf files so everyone knows whats included or has to be done on a 30,000mile tune up. Given details on what needs to be inspected, greased, replaced, and cleaned. I for one just hit 30k and would definately want to know what needs to be done

Dealerships suck, they don't know how to drive lowered cars with lips

hopefully it works, if not just go to the root, www.cartersubaru.com, click on "service & parts" and then on "service schedules"

i was looking around for what needs to be done for 45k tune up and i think i just gonna have fluids changed, the rest i dont want to be charged for labor and parts...

DIY, its really easy and not worth $500

so my co-worker just took her wrx in for the 30k and i got a copy of the full report from the dealer. its 6 pages of nothing, go figure, its a dealer. so the maintenance they do is (in order on the report):

a. oil and filter
b. air cleaner element and filter
c. fuel filter
d. coolant replacement
e. brake fluid flush
f. tranny flush
g. diffy fluid flush
h. brake inspection
i. rotate tires
j. car wash

the only things that are unclear are coolant and air cleaner element (different from panel filter?) but they seem pretty easy too. everything else... SUPER easy. everything is on scoobymods and are really easy to follow. ive dont plenty of 30k tunes. just not coolant, which im sure is easier than oil.

the total came out to be $600 on the report... WHOA!

and then they gave a discount of 100 to make the total $500. still whoa.
